My mum is planning on me getting the injection, as my friends mom is doing. I am 14, and my friend told me that once 1 takes the first injection, you have to wait a year before having sex. I am not sexually active, but I am wondering if I should hurry to get the injection if I want to start having sex? My mum says that its not true, but Im not sure if she knows really.
